First White Christmas!

It was our first White Christmas, though there was no snow on Christmas Day. The snow collected over the previous weeks made it an extremely beautiful time of the year. The snow on the ground, the streets lit with brilliance, Christmas trees around the neighbourhood and the satisfaction of achieving some of the goals we had set ourselves made it an extremely pleasurable Christmas.

A big family dinner with Turkey, roasted ham, wine and beer with lots of presents was something that we had always dreamt off. Though we had not moved into our new house, it was still special and will be remembered fondly for years to come.

Dear Allan,

Your Canadian Experience articles are really excellent and very much helpful to a newcomer (like me). I landed in Canada in the middle of February that too from a hot place like Madras. I have started applying (by the way I am a Business Analyst), so far haven't been successful. I was really depressed, at the time luckily came upon your article which says "Stick to your profession, Don't get disheartened". You won't know how much it has helped me. Keep up your good work.
